I lost nearly 150 pounds by counting calories. I once weighed 344.2 pounds, now around 200. My story has been told on CNN, CBS, and Newsweek and will soon be in a book.

I've only been on an elliptical maybe twice in my life, and both times it was ridiculously hard. The display was oddly non-user-friendly, and I couldn't tell how to set the level, so I have no idea if I was on the hardest level or the easiest, or somewhere in between. I could barely get out 5 minutes, and my quads were burning like Sherman through Atlanta. And this was when I was in fairly decent shape! I can't even imagine being able to do 45 minutes. I tip my hat to you, Shawn.
