Taco Salad from La Costeña

I had a great taco salad for dinner from a local Mexican restaurant (not a chain).  I also had a handful of chips with salsa, as well as a little bit of the taco shell.

The taco salad included tomatoes, lettuce, Mexican cheese, shredded grilled chicken, and salsa.  I estimate it’s a meal hovering around 200 calories, void of fat except for the cheese.  If you include the little bit of shell I had and the dozen or so chips, it’s probably a 300 calorie meal.

I’m going to duplicate this meal at home, it’s definitely a quick and easy meal.
