I just found your blog and am starting from the beginning. I'm overweight myself (5' 11" female starting at 271 lbs) and I'm trying to make the lifestyle changes that will get me healthy. I think if I aim for healthy, I'll hit slim along the way.

I went through a similar deal- I gave up soda, coffee and caffeine a little over a month ago. I went into withdrawal like a junkie- it was awful! There was a day where I could NOT sit still. I was twitching like someone had hit me with a power line. But it made me even more determined to get away from the addicition.

I don't know if you ran into this but when I would tell people that I was cutting out caffeine, they looked at me like I was crazy. I was told by many that they could never and WOULD never give it up, they just need it/love it/crave it too much.

I don't want to be that. So, here we are. ;)

Thanks so much for blogging about your journey. You are an inspiration and I look forward to following you every step of the way.
