900 Calories in One Meal

March 1, 2009 | Diet & Nutrition

My iPhone was dead, so I couldn’t take a picture of this fatastic meal.

For dinner last night my wife and I went to Zaxby’s.  I had the meal below, complete with sweet & spicy boneless wings, french fries, and celery.  I drank water though, of course.

Good thing I’m not on a diet;  otherwise, I couldn’t have eaten this.  I don’t even consider this “splurging.”  As long as I keep eating healthy, exercising regularly, and eating meals like this in extreme moderation, I’ll keep losing weight.

The entire meal was 900 calories.  The celery was 2 extra calories, so I decided to skip those.  I am trying to limit my calorie-intake, after all.

Heading to confession, err, I mean the gym.

I laughed out loud about your celery comment!

Just FYI, celery is a “negative calorie” food, meaning it takes more calories to burn than it has in it. You could’ve eaten them ;)

As long as you do this in moderation you’ll be fine. I hate when people are so hung up on diets that they don’t know the basic principle—that yeah, you can eat, but the important thing is to move your arse and burn some calories!!!
