I went and bought new pants tonight for a meeting tomorrow. Size 44! I bought them in the regular men’s section, not the big and tall section that they always herd us cattle off to. The big and tall section in department stores is usually in the back and has a few broken lights, no service, and has an extremely small, poor selection. I don’t need that anymore, I shop with the lightweights!
I used to have a 48 waist just 6 weeks ago… In January I’m shopping in the back alley of a store for my ugly horse blanket and in March I get to shop like a KING at the front of the store, with the XL shirts and the 32 waist jeans.
I haven’t had a 40 inch waist since high school, but that day is acomin’ again.
