Week 17: Weigh-in Results

May 20, 2009

80.

267-pounds

May 20 weight: 264.2
May 13 weight: 267.4
May 06 weight: 272.8
April 29 weight: 275.8
April 22 weight: 279.6

I’ve lost 3.2 pounds in the last 7 days and 80 pounds in 17 weeks. Want stats from past weeks? Check out my entire 17 week weight loss progress.

While I’m happy with losing 3.2 pounds, I think I could’ve dropped one or two more pounds.  I had a few extremely fattening meals (Outback pasta, anyone?) over the weekend, in addition to the several cheeseburgers I ate last week.

Let’s make this week the week I hit the 250s.  You can help — e-mail your mom, co-workers, friends, neighbors, etc.  I’m not asking you to pull out your wallet, I’m asking you to spend 20 seconds spamming forwarding a link to someone.

In return, I’ll show you on Friday what my body is capable of doing.

Tyler, you are unstoppable!!! And don’t feel too badly about those missing 3.2 pounds. You lost ‘em, I found ‘em. …sigh…

Great job, Tyler! Bet it feels fantastic. I hit my first 50 lost last week, and am loving how I feel and look. Off to the gym – gotta work on losing the next 50! Keep it up, bud. You’re a real inspiration.

Congrats on losing again this week! As you get closer to your goal, it’s not unusual to find that you settle into a bit of a slower loss. That’s natural. As you ramp up your workouts, you’re also building muscle, which can make using just the scale to chart your progress a bit frustrating. Maybe it’s a good time to start taking some measurements each week.

And Will , that’s great! Congrats to you as well!

80 pounds in 17 weeks is awesome! I’ve lost ALMOST 100 pounds, but it’s taken me a year to reach it. (Of course, for the first half of that year, I was pregnant.)
