I don’t like tracking calories every week on the web, I’d prefer just to keep a running tally in my head. With that being said, I don’t know how my meals might begin to look if I didn’t have to be accountable for them.
It’s not broke, so I’m not fixing it.
I’ll see you next Saturday.

You gotta do what works for you. If it works, don’t mess with it too much, that is for sure.
Long time looker, first time poster!
I gotta agree on the calorie counting. I use the notepad function on my Blackberry to keep a daily running total, and some days it gets pretty annoying when I’m busy. But a few months ago I decided to keep the tally in my head as well, and my dieting got really, really bad. There’s always something more reinforcing about seeing it written down somewhere as you go.
Yeah, I’m going to keep counting. It’s obviously not a very fun topic, nor one that is popular (these posts only get a few comments), but it’s another form of accountability for me.
And, at the end of the day, this blog is about me :)
I’ve been using the livestrong app for the iphone. It works good and has a database of foods (cause I’m always wrong about calories lol)
