Week 26: Weigh-in Results

July 22, 2009

The scale had an early birthday present this morning.  230′s!

238-poundsJuly 22 weight: 238.8
July 15 weight: 241.4
July 08 weight: 243.8
July 01 weight: 247.6
Jun 24 weight: 252.4

I’ve lost 2.6 pounds in the last 7 days and 105.4 pounds in 26 weeks. Want stats from past weeks? Check out my entire 26 week weight loss progress.

I’m now 39 pounds away from weighing under 200 pounds.  Can you imagine how exciting that day is going to be?  I loved the day I lost 100 pounds, but it’ll be nothing compared to the day I weigh under 200 pounds.

That’s going to be one big party.

Wow, T. Ridiculous. You’re unstoppable. I want to do that interview, but it may not be this week now. I’m sorry. I’m getting ready to leave for Chicago Friday morning and my time seems to be filling up really quickly. Next week may be much better. Happy early bday.

You’re an inspiration dude! Especially to me to get back to the gym and re-lose weight. Although, I think it might be time to put on some massive muscle :)

Tyler July 22, 2009 at 10:30 AM

Massive muscle is my long term goal!

You are right, losing a hundred is great, but when you get under 200, that is an insane feeling…especially when you start in the 300′s…

You are awesome and inspiring. I need to get moving!

Great numbers this week, man! At 223, I can feel you nipping at my heels. We might break 200 around the same time. Yeah, that’s going to be reason to celebrate :-)

You are a rock star! You know what pleases me the most? The fact that you’re doing this now and not waiting years and years like I have. Well done!

Whoohooo! I just read all your blog entries (why yes, I am at work, thanks for asking) and I think you’re doing a great job! You have shown that it can be done once you make the decision and follow through. Congratulations on your progress!

Thanks for reading! It sounds like your employer made a sound hiring decision. :)

Tyler,

I found your blog quite by accident. I was doing a Google search for “calories in a blt on wheat,” and lo and behold, there you were, weight loss rock star, on the first page of results.

Your story is a compelling one and so much of what you share about your process of transforming your life has applications well beyond mere weight loss.

I’m on my own journey towards my body’s ideal weight, with a scaled down poundage than your goal. I have probably about 50 pounds total to shed (after hitting my all-time zenith for weight four weeks ago), total. I’ve completed my fourth week, and I’m down 16.5 pounds, with another 2.5 to go to hit my first target by the first of August.

I commend you for your tenacity, your willingness to share your own success with others, and the capacity to encourage others that your own story contributes towards.

You are heroic and it’s nice having a fellow traveler to check in with and compare notes.

Continued success in your journey.

Thanks for the comment, Jim. Good luck with your weight loss journey. I read your blog too – nice writing!
