Week 33: Weigh-in Results

September 9, 2009 | Weigh-in Results

Uncharted territory.

231-poundsSeptember 09 weight: 231.6
September 02 weight: 233.6
August 26 weight: 232.8
August 19 weight: 233.2
August 12 weight: 233.6

I’ve lost 2 pounds in the last 7 days and 112.6 pounds in 33 weeks. Want stats from past weeks? Check out my entire 33 week weight loss progress.

I have never been so focused on reaching my goal of 194 pounds than I have been this past week.  Not only will I reach 194 pounds, but I’ll do it before January.  In fact, I’ve convinced myself to start counting calories again next week, even though I despised counting them.

I’m that serious.

My diet is looking clean — no more meals from a bag.  I’ll still eat the foods I enjoy, like cheeseburgers and fries from Five Guys, but it’ll be in moderation like it was in the beginning — weekends, night out with friends, etc.

I also have a new secret weapon:  the StairMaster.

I know the last several weeks saw very few posts and even fewer pounds lost, but I’m glad you stuck around.  The next few months are going to be amazing.

You’re unstoppable. Your progress chart really tells a tale, ever since you announced you were moving progressed stopped… Now that you are done with moving your weight starts moving.

It’s not rocket science, just keep it up boy!

Great job, T. You’re back on the wagon. And of course we stuck around! You are MUCH harder on yourself than the rest of us will ever be.

Dude, you ARE the Stair Master!

Great work this week. I’m pretty sure that hell is lined with those @#$% machines. And good to see you counting calories again. I’ll bet it helps. Awesome to see the commitment.

Keep up the great work! Remember that you are an inspiration to others (you’re the one that made me see the light and start my own journey/website). Keep going and when you get frustrated, remember that there are people like me who are rooting you on…

Fantastic! You really are an inspiration.
On the stairmaster, just make sure you keep the tension low enough that you don’t lean on your arms too much. That wont’ get you a good workout.

2 more pounds! Yeah! Keep it coming off. The stair master–that’s some tough stuff, yeah? I just added the treadmill to my routine…not sure when I’ll add the stair master…

Great work so far–and here’s too 194 in the next few months!

Great job! I’m sure it won’t be long and you will be down to the 200 mark. Well done.

I just read this article in Time about exercise and how doing that alone can actually make you gain if you aren’t careful. As you’re debating the need to count calories, I thought you might enjoy this.

You’ve been a huge inspiration in my journey through weight loss. I’ve lost a total of 35 pounds now & my goal is to lose another 40. Thanks for all your wisdom…keep up the great work!

I’ve been a long time reader of the site, but I’ve honestly never commented before, but I liked this post and I wanted to reply. I started a weight loss program, Weight Watchers, back in October and I’ve lost 61.8 pounds so far.

When I tipped the scales at 350 lbs I was kind of shocked. I knew I was over the 300 pound mark, but it was still surprising to know I was that close to 400 lbs. Now I weight, roughly 289 pounds and I’m trying hard to continue with my journey.

I’ve always enjoyed reading your blog because I find it pretty motivational. The summer was rough for me and although I’m down since the beginning I’m not nearly where I had hoped I would be. I’m looking for a renewed focus to my ‘diet’ and will be checking your blog regularly again for inspiration.

Congratulations on all you’ve accomplished so far.
