I lost nearly 150 pounds by counting calories. I once weighed 344.2 pounds, now around 200. My story has been told on CNN, CBS, and Newsweek and will soon be in a book.

Gait Analysis is great for runners and I would highly recommend it as it does make a difference to the way you run and walk. A Gait Analysis can also lead to the treatment of many foot conditions. Plus a good, fitted pair of running shoes makes running much more comfortable. Great post!

Nice kicks! Just to let you know though, Fleet Feet does gait analysis and will put you in a shoe made for your specific foot and running pattern. They fixed my shin splints and sore knees! It's off of harbison next to carolina ale house and cold stone creamery (I know, how ironic, right?)

Those shoes look pretty cool! I haven't really tried any shoes with springs in them, haha!

I'm looking for a new pair of shoes and was thinking of looking into the Nike Free line of shoes (http://barefootrunningshoes.org/nike-free-shoes/)... When you were looking into shoes did you look into these at all?

They look pretty good, especially the Nike Free 5.0...

Those are some fun shoes. I'm still rocking some New Balance shoes in the gym, but have Vibrams that I use for my outside walks.

I can't wait to hear that you ran through these, too!
