I lost nearly 150 pounds by counting calories. I once weighed 344.2 pounds, now around 200. My story has been told on CNN, CBS, and Newsweek and will soon be in a book.

I see a very sad and lost guy, who feels helpless and trapped. One who wishes to have control, but doesn't know how to gain it. At least I see a bit of me in you. I haven't always been heavy.. up until I was 20, I was 135 lbs at 5'7". Then I slowly stopped being active and began snacking and eating larger portions.. fast forward 10 yrs later and at my heaviest I was 245. I have been working out and eating healthier for a Month and one week. I've lost 12 lbs so far (I weigh 233). My goal is to loose 90 more pounds. I just focus on a monthly goal of a 10 lbs loss... it's easier to wrap my head around and alot easier to see where I'm slacking and exercise more or eat better. Wish me luck.. it took awhile to get on my frame and I know it'll take a while to get off. I hope to reach my goal weight in a year or under.

Tyler, what a difference. Amazing! I am curious to know if the redness in your face has gone away with the weight loss?
