:-) super duper ultra mega fantabulousally AWESOME!
may I suggest you update your progress pictures to include a side by side by side of today, your first “topless” picture and your starter picture – that would be a great progress summary in one screen shot
:-)

That’s a good idea, Jennifer. I’ll definitely have to do that.

Awesome work Tyler! Your back is looking cut man. Nice job! Two questions:

-Are you planning on posting the chat transcripts? I’d love to read them.

-You still eating ~2000 calories per day and exercising 4-5 days/week? How long are you at the gym for total, and for how many minutes are you doing weights vs. cardio? I ask because I’m having some issues with maintenance. I still think I’m taking in too few calories (1700-1900), but maybe I’m working out too much as well (5 days/week, 20mins on weights, 60mins interval cardio). Man, I thought it would be easier to dial it down, but maintenance is definitely as hard as losing. I’ll get there, but like losing was, it will be a process.

I think I need to slowly up my calories to the 2,700 per day, which is what most calculators say I need to be at to maintain. I guess I’ll just have to get over the initial weight gain. I won’t know unless I try!

I am planning to record the chat transcripts. Also, yes, I’m still eating about 2,00 calories a day and working out 4-5 days a week. I will post a more detailed layout of what I’m doing every day within the next week or so since you’re so interested!

Wahoo! your back looks awesome, definitely talking :)

I think you should do a post on your daily schedule, gym workouts, etc. It would give us an idea of how you’re doing this, and losing the weight too :)

Good idea. You’ll see it soon.

Congrats on the loss, but…

Less cardio, more weight lifting. 52% of your 3lb loss this week was from lean muscle…exactly what you do NOT want to be losing.

Molly September 1, 2010 at 9:54 AM

Um, hello back muscles! Where have you been for the past couple of years. Looking good Tyler!

Tyler September 1, 2010 at 11:39 AM

Thanks :)
