Counting Calories
I’m flawless for the last 7 days, even over the weekend, “flawless” meaning I didn’t go over 2,100 calories from last Wednesday until today.
Granted, that might change tomorrow.
Burning Calories
I’m back to high intensity cardio now that my leg is healed. I have about four and a half months until my first 10k and I need to shed some more weight, in my humble opinion. I’m not ready to announce any goals, but I probably want to go below 200 pounds and stay there. Not far below, though.
200 is going to look a lot different with muscles this time around.
My daily workouts seem to be more and more focused on weight lifting, which works for me considering my strength is steadily increasing and muscles are changing the way I look way more than cardio ever did. I still need to find some time on the weekends to do nothing but cardio, mainly running.
Have you had a good week leading up to Thanksgiving?

You are looking great!
Thanks, Cathy!
I’m honestly afraid to weigh myself this week! But I will. Tomorrow morning, rather than Friday like I normally do, because that would just be cruel. Congrats on scheduling your first 10k! I just did my first a couple weeks ago and it was tough. I didn’t run the whole thing, but probably 4 miles or more out of 6. That’s good enough for me! Stopping to walk a bit is necessary for me, unfortunately!
How did your weigh-in go, Jennifer? I don’t think I’ll be able to run the entire thing either, we’ll just have to see.
When you get to your final goal weight you should put up the lowest pre-muscles pics next to your lowest with muscles pics…that would be an awesome comparison
That’s a great idea. I don’t think I’ll ever reach a goal weight, so I think I’ll just have to post those pictures soon.
I’ve had a great week leading up to this Thanksgiving so I think I’ll try not to completely blow it tomorrow. Have a happy turkey day!
How’d Thanksgiving treat you, Charlie? Thanks for the happy wishes, hope your Thanksgiving treated you well!
The diet is working for you. Keep up the exercise also. Weight training will help you speed up your metabolism in order to lose even more weight.
I do a lot of weight training, as I’m aware it speeds up our metabolisms. And it makes me look and feel better :)
I just discovered you… I am starting a weight loss journey myself. I am 327. I started tracking calories, and the gym membership will start in a couple weeks. (Money) I was considering gastric bypass, but I need to do this on my own. I think I can I think I can… Off to find you on facebook
