Week 99: Weigh-in Results

December 15, 2010

We’ll be in the triple digits this time next week:  the big 1-0-0.

December 15 weight: 211.2 pounds | -0.4 pounds weekly change
Body Fat Percentage:
21.7% | -0.3% weekly change

(Take a look at my progress chart to view numbers from my entire journey.)

Counting Calories

Flawless for 7. Well, except Sunday, which was atrocious as I had free tickets to a box suite at the Panthers game (with a free buffet), but I lost the three pounds I gained on Sunday by Tuesday — all water weight for the most part.

2,100 calories a day is the plan until 2011, then I’ll probably adjust.

Burning Calories

I was going to have nothing new to report as far as burning calories goes, that is until I decided on Monday night to start doing sit ups every night. I workout in the gym for an hour every weekday and I dance a little bit at night playing the Wii, but I wanted to add a little bit something else.

Sit ups are that something else.

I’ll share more about my sit up routine, reasoning behind it, etc in a future update, but for now, can you believe we’ve done this 99 times?

I think you should compare next week the first week pictures when you did a weigh in and week 100s. I bet it will be an incredible shot and the difference will be spectacular.

That’s a good idea, Rick. I’ll do just that.

Thanks, nice weigh-in too by the way.

I agree with Big Rick! :)

I’m glad you do, so do I :)

Great job! You should do something special for the 100 week weigh-in!!

By the way, I brought an ab wheel ($13 on Amazon) and it’s a very easy way to work your abs. I don’t like traditional sit-ups but I wanted something to work my abs and core. That thing is awesome!!!! You’ll feel it immediately. Check out the reviews.

Nice! I might get an ab wheel, as well. I actually bought an exercise mat, which would be beneficial for you. It’s like $14 and is extremely comfortable, a great thing when you have hardwood floors like I do.

Sheila December 18, 2010 at 4:50 PM

Yeah, you know what? That exercise mat is a good idea. When I use the ab wheel I have to put a towel under both of my knees because I have hardwood floors as well.

Just a little teasing….

Love the chips on top of the microwave!

Seriously though. You’re making incredible progress on your muscles!

Best wishes.

I think progress is going well too, Leah :)

Oh, and those chips are delicious. Um nom nom!
