Week 109: Weigh-in Results
Weekly Update (#109)
Boring, so very boring.
I’m motivated every single morning I go to the gym. I love the gym and I love lifting weights and doing cardio. I have no problem waking up at 4 AM, just because I’m looking forward to my workout ahead. I didn’t always love working out, but I do now.
I don’t love the daily monotony of losing weight, though.
Losing weight is “fun” at first, especially as the weight comes off easily during the first few weeks, but then the grind starts. It’s boring to limit what you eat 90% of the meals during the week only to see a loss of 0.2 pounds on the scale. It’s boring to see no noticeable change in the mirror or in my case, an uploaded progress video after a week of work.
But change is being made. Slowly, methodically, and without a doubt, change is being made. I’m putting in the work, and eventually, I’ll see the results on the video and scale.
It just takes a little faith to continue. Faith, and a little bit of time.
