Body Transformation – Update 158

February 29, 2012

Here’s the new kitchen I’ve been waiting to show you since July.  Let there be light:

Today’s Weight: 203 pounds, +6 pounds since  February 15 (141.2 pounds lost)
Today’s Body Fat Percentage: Still pending.
Average Daily Calories for the Last 7 Days: 2,500

Most Calories in One Meal: You could pick any one of the fast food meals I’ve had over the last seven days.  I’ve moved several times in my life, but I underestimated just quite how much this (final) move would turn my life upside down.  We’ve got a few things left in the garage and some pictures to hang up, but it looks like the worst is behind us.

Most Repeated Workout Song: Everything is unpacked, but I can’t find my iPod.

I haven’t been in a gym for 13 days.  This is the longest I’ve gone without seeing the inside of a gym since I started counting calories.  I’m not being lazy, though.  I’m still waking up before 5, but instead of going to the gym I’m doing things around the house like setting up my office, installing surround sound, putting up pictures, those kinds of things.

Fortunately, enough things have finally found their place inside our home so I should be able to find and join a gym within the next couple of days.  I won’t miss a day at the gym next week.  I feel a certain emptiness every morning when I know I should be at the gym and it drives me crazy.  That feeling is going to be killed by the weekend.

I guarantee it.

I’m also finally going to start tracking my body fat percentage.  As I get more time over the next few days I’m going bite the bullet and order something online to do exactly that:  measure body fat percentage.  I need a quick, easy (accurate) tool to measure my body fat every Wednesday morning and I’ve yet to settle on something.   I’m just afraid of buying something unreliable, which is a very common complaint with these products.

Regardless, I’m going to pull the trigger and settle on something immediately.

I guess February will just go down in the record books as a very rewarding, but unsettling month.  Hopefully that means I can settle down as I enter March and make it one of those fast paced, productive months where I take no prisoners and get tons of things done.

Yeah, that’s what I want out of March.  Let’s make it happen.
