Weigh-in Results – Week 188

Want to lose weight? My story has been featured on CBS' The Doctors, CNN, and The Huffington Post. Learn how I lost over 125 pounds (100lbs in 6 months!) by clicking here.

Guess what’s back?  Weekly weigh-in results.  The two week hiatus was nice as it’s a lot of work putting these together early Friday morning.

My Fitbit is MIA, so that is not back.  Fitbit’s report will be back next week (even if I have to buy another one), along with a little something extra I’m adding to weekly weigh-in results.   For now, here I am this morning after a great gym workout:

sep 7 2012 Weigh in Results – Week 188

Today’s weight: 217.2 pounds
Total weight lost since January 2009:
127 pounds
Physical activity (daily average) over the last week:

Technically, that’s me after the gym and the shower the followed.

Obviously, at 217.2 pounds, I had a rough last couple of weeks.  In fairness, the first week skipping my weigh-in (week 186) was abysmal, but I’ve redeemed myself this week.  I actually reached about 224 pounds at the end of week 186.

Keeping things into perspective, though, it’s fairly easy (by just not watching what you eat!) to gain a lot of “temporary” weight.  If you go from eating very little fast food to eating a lot of it, plus other foods that are high in sodium, your body can gain a lot of weight in a short period of time.

Regardless, I’m tired of this inconsistency.  I’m back and more determined than ever to keep going.  The gym has revitalized me — I love waking up at 4 AM and pushing my body to the limits again.  I’ve made great progress this week.

I want to be able to say I lost 150 pounds.  It’s not an arbitrary number; it’s simply around where I think my “final” weight will end up.  It’s a good target.

Let’s shoot for it.
