Vending Machines to Start Listing Calories in 2013

Want to lose weight? My story has been featured on CBS' The Doctors, CNN, and The Huffington Post. Learn how I lost over 125 pounds (100lbs in 6 months!) by clicking here.

The American Beverage Association, which represents Coke, Pepsi, and Dr. Pepper, announced yesterday that they will be including the calorie contents of all vending machine selections on the outside of vending machines starting in 2013.

The new vending machines will feature the individual calorie contents of each drink directly below that selection.  In addition, you’ll see the “Calories Count” logo on every vending machine starting sometime after the New Year.

This not only promotes and enables customers to select lower calorie beverages, but it also helps solidify counting calories as the foremost way of losing weight.

I can’t tell you how happy I am with the way things are changing.  While I may not have a budget to compete with The South Beach Diet, Atkins, Paleo, and the myriad of other diets out there, it seems as if I have others willing to put up the cash.

Counting calories is the best way to lose weight — it seems as if Pepsi agrees, too.
