Private Trainer’s Thoughts on My 2,000-Calorie Daily Diet
I posted a sample 2,000-calorie a day diet last week. It contained a list of my food and meals from a previous day — foods usually not considered as “healthly.”
As usual, I received quite a bit of negativity from “the industry” (but not real people) for the food selection, but I also received this diamond in the rough:
Congrats! I’m a private trainer and have been lurking in the background reading your blog maybe for a year. I’m a big fan. Your diet is great because it works for you. I always knew it was about food and how you managed it.
There really is no bad food, only bad people that abuse food. The know-it-alls of the world would have you say that you are setting a bad example, that what you eat is not healthy, and they criticize without any real world accomplishment to back it up. They are lost in theory and have no concept of reality and its complexities.
Well, maybe they forget that being 344 pounds is not only 100X more unhealthy than what you eat now, it is downright a question of life and death. Tell them to go screw themselves and stuff their myopic, self-serving, better than thou hypocrisy up their sorry ass butts.
I would like to see you list again your daily diet, I’ve used examples like this before to show my clients it can be done eating whatever you want, only with a few rules.
Feel free to post some or all of this post, I’d get a kick out of it!
I hope you get a kick out of it.
